Kawasaki has been developing new technologies in a variety of industries for more than one hundred years. The focus is on total systems engineering utilizing various existing technologies and the development of new technologies providing diverse products for use on land, sea and in the air. Kawasaki first started producing motorcycles in the United States in 1974, and was the first Japanese manufacturer of motorcycles and four-wheeled vehicles to initiate production here.
